Somos Esencia, the restaurant group that has the restaurants Tierra Brava, Brisa, Agua, Bauma and Barraca, has just added two new restaurants to its proposal, Gatopardo and Fauna Café. In fact, both restaurants occupy the same premises of 400 m2, separated into two spaces and at the same time connected, located at number 11 of Vilanova street, next to the emblematic Arc de Triomf.

Gatopardo

The first of them is GatorPardo. An Italian restaurant that occupies the largest area, with capacity for 120 diners and a private dining room where you can enjoy delicious Italian food with greater discretion.

In its menu you will find exquisite pasta dishes such as parppadelle with osso buco, black tagliatelle with octopus ragu, a classic mushroom and parmesan risotto, as well as meat and fish, and of course, delicious desserts, such as Tiramusu, Panna Cota with chocolate or Italian artisan ice cream.

In a space decorated by the interior design studio Sandra Tarruellas Interioristas, which has conceived a sober and warm place, with plenty of natural light thanks to a huge window that illuminates the entire space. To highlight one of the walls with a large shelf full of wine bottles and touches of vegetation present in various corners of the room.

Fauna Café

Connected by a small portico, next to Gatopardo is Somos Esencia's other gastronomic proposal, Fauna Café. A somewhat more informal space, with capacity for 72 diners, which offers an extensive brunch menu, prepared with healthy foods, as well as a wide range of Mediterranean-inspired tapas.

Its menu includes breakfast options such as ricotta, blueberry and lime brioche or croissant with scrambled eggs and cucumber, accompanied by 100% organic juices, such as India, for radiant skin, with carrot, orange, lemon, apple, pear, ginger and fresh turmeric.

For its part, the varied tapas offer includes dishes such as sardine montadito flambéed with peperoncino all i oli or polenta fries with caper mayonnaise. You can also enjoy salads, main courses and desserts, including roasted peppers with feta cheese, basil and dukkah, tuna belly carpaccio with cured egg yolk or strawberries flambéed with balsamic, crème fraîche and artisan vanilla ice cream.
