Alex joins Somos Esencia's management team.

The Somos Esencia restaurant group is pleased to announce the addition of Alex to its management team and the upcoming opening of two new restaurants, marking an exciting chapter in the company's evolution.

Guillem, co-founder and leader of Somos EsenciaGuillem, co-founder and leader of Somos Esencia, has a solid academic background that includes higher education in Switzerland and a university degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Abat Oliva CEU. 


Alex, the new addition to the team, has studied higher education in England and has obtained a university degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from EUHT Sant Pol de Mar University.

Guillem began his career founding a luxury travel agency company and another related to the world of parties. Since the foundation of Somos Esencia 5 years ago, he has played a crucial role in the management of the company. Alex brings 10 years of experience in the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain of the Marriott group, in Barcelona and Switzerland, holding managerial roles and being part of the executive committee in his last position.

Currently, Somos Esencia successfully manages six restaurants: Agua, Brisa Palau de Mar, Tierra BravaBestial Beach Club, Barraca and Bar Bauma. In addition, they are delighted to announce the imminent opening of a new restaurant.

We Are Essence was founded in 2019 with the mission to take over the management of restaurants. Agua, Brisa Palau de Mar y Tierra Bravaunder the leadership of Guillem. In February 2023, we incorporated the Bestial restaurant to our portfolio.Alex's arrival in September 2023, as part of the management team, reflects our determination to continue our expansion and excellence.

They highlight that 2022 marked a milestone in terms of turnover and add that, up to the end of August 2023, we have achieved an increase of 15. 21% compared to the same date in 2022, reflecting the ongoing commitment to growth and excellence.
