The 'Tierra' restaurant was inaugurated this Thursday night at the Ninot market in Barcelona with a party attended by celebrities from the world of gastronomy and fashion.
Its director of operations, Guillem Mitats, explained that, after taking over the management of the restaurant 'Agua' and now of 'Tierra', he has another project to install in the city's Palau de Mar.
The 'Tierra', within the Mercat del Ninot, is inspired by the market to offer a product of proximity and fresh in a space with differentiated environments in its more than 400 square meters, with capacity for 149 diners and the desire to offer "quality at an affordable price," said Mitats. Thus, there is a chill-out area at the entrance, a bar for snacks and a dining room that at night becomes a cocktail lounge with live music and DJs.
The concept of the restaurant is twofold: during the day, a restaurant for a quick drink or a full menu; tapas for the afternoon-evening, and at night, cocktails in a changed atmosphere, with the variants of lighting and the movable ceiling.
At the opening there were live musical performances, as well as Mr Dripping, an artist who paints without touching the canvas with the brush and who painted three pictures and used the body painting technique.
