Restaurant Brisa, the new jewel of the Palau de Mar designed by architect Dani Freixes
The company Grup Esencia, led by Xavier Mitats and his son Guillem Mitats, is opening a new restaurant called Brisa this month, located at the Palau de Mar in Barcelona.
The restaurant has a privileged view of Port Vell and offers Barcelona residents an opportunity to rediscover the port.
Brisa offers traditional, modern, and market-style cuisine with the freshest seasonal and local products.

The architectural design and interior design were carried out by renowned architect Dani Freixes. The Freixes project has always respected the surroundings, the Palau de Mar, a magnificent and unique building into which La Brisa has been perfectly integrated. The terrace is large, with pleasant shade provided by the sloping roof. The vegetation is one of the most important elements of the terrace. In addition to covering the perimeter, plants and jasmine have been placed to provide fragrance, and a central olive tree gives the space a traditional feel.
The comfortable furniture made from natural materials invites you to relax, and the blue and blue textiles bring light and evoke the sea. Light fish and mirrors have been used in the decoration, along with garlands to celebrate the night.

The terrace takes center stage at La Brisa, but the interior has also been carefully designed down to the last detail, creating a cozy, practical, and modern space. At the back, there is a large window that serves as a backdrop for a colorful bar where some of the plates end up. In the foreground, there is a large, elongated table that can accommodate groups. Another striking feature of the interior are the copper-finished beer tanks, placed in an elevated position.

Brisa also has an outdoor bar where delicious cocktails are prepared. On the other side of the terrace, high tables allow you to contemplate the large yachts in the harbor and the passing atmosphere.
Brisa is open to the public, complying with current safety regulations regarding capacity and social distancing. It has a capacity for 160 people between the terrace and the indoor tables. It opens at 12 noon and closes at 1 a.m., offering lunch and dinner service, as well as cocktails during the day. The establishment is pet-friendly.
