Brisa restaurant, the new jewel of the Palau de Mar designed by architect Dani Freixes
The company Groupe Esencia, led by Xavier Mitats and his son Guillem Mitats, is opening a new restaurant called Brisa this month, located in the Palau de Mar in Barcelona.
The restaurant offers a privileged view of Port Vell and gives Barcelona residents the opportunity to rediscover the port.
Brisa offers traditional, modern, market-style cuisine made with the freshest local and seasonal produce.

The architectural design and interior decoration were carried out by the renowned architect Dani Freixes. The Freixes project has always respected the environment, the Palau de Mar, a magnificent and unique building into which the Brisa has been perfectly integrated. The terrace is large and enjoys pleasant shade thanks to the heather roof. Vegetation is one of the most important elements of the terrace. In addition to covering the perimeter, plants and jasmine have been placed to add fragrance, and a central olive grove gives the space a traditional feel.
Comfortable furniture made from natural materials invites relaxation, and blue and blue textiles bring brightness and evoke the sea. Luminous fish and mirrors were used for decoration, and garlands were used to celebrate the night.

The terrace occupies a central place in Brisa, but the interior has also been carefully designed down to the smallest detail, creating a cozy, practical, and modern space. In the background, a large shelf serves as a backdrop to a colorful bar where some dishes are finished. In the foreground, there is a large elongated table that can accommodate groups. Another striking feature of the interior are the copper-finished beer tanks, placed in an elevated position.

Brisa also has an outdoor bar where delicious cocktails are prepared. On the other side of the terrace, a few high tables allow you to admire the large yachts in the harbor and the relaxed atmosphere.
Brisa is open to the public and complies with current safety regulations in terms of capacity and social distancing. It has a capacity of 160 people between the terrace and indoor tables. It opens at noon and closes at 1 a.m. and offers lunch and dinner service, as well as cocktails during the day. The establishment is pet-friendly.
