The company Esencia Group, led by Xavier Mitats and his son Guillem Mitats, opens this month the new Brisa restaurant, located in the Palau de Mar in Barcelona.

The restaurant has a privileged view of Port Vell and offers Barcelonians an opportunity to rediscover the port.

Brisa offers traditional, modern, and market-style cuisine with the freshest seasonal and local produce.

The architectural project and interior design were carried out by the renowned architect Dani Freixes. The Freixes project has always respected the environment, the Palau de Mar, a magnificent and unique building in which the Brisa has been perfectly integrated. The terrace is large, with pleasant shade provided by the heather roof. Vegetation is one of the most important elements of the terrace. In addition to covering the perimeter, plants and jasmine have been placed to perfume the space, and a central olive grove gives it character.

The comfortable furniture made of natural materials invites you to relax, and the blue and blue textiles provide luminosity and evoke the sea. Light and mirror fish have been used in the decoration, and garlands to celebrate the night.

The terrace takes center stage at Brisa, but the interior has also been carefully designed down to the last detail, creating a cozy, practical, and modern space. In the background, there is a large shelf that serves as a backdrop for a colorful bar where some of the dishes are finished. In the foreground, there is a large, elongated table that can accommodate groups. Another element that stands out in the interior are the beer tanks, with a copper finish, placed in a raised position.

Brisa also has an outdoor bar where delicious cocktails are prepared. On the other side of the terrace, there are some high tables that allow you to contemplate the large yachts in the port and the strolling atmosphere.

Brisa is open to the public, adapting to current safety regulations in terms of capacity and social distancing. It has a capacity for 160 people between the terrace and the interior tables. It opens at 12 noon and closes at 1 a.m., offering lunch and dinner service, as well as cocktails during the day. The property is pet friendly.
