The Somos Esencia gastronomic project closed 2023 with a turnover of €17 million, 18% more than the previous year.
According to a statement released by the company on Monday, this growth is due to the successful operation of its establishments, which have been "well received by the public" since their inception.
The partner and founder of Somos Esencia, Guillem Mitats, believes that the figures for 2023 allow them to face 2024 with optimism: "We will be able to beat the excellent figures from the year we have just left behind."
In this regard, the company expects to have a turnover of around €30 million in 2024, with six establishments and 300 employees between offices and premises.
Executive Director Àlex Mitats explained that they have set themselves "very ambitious" goals, but believe they can achieve them.
