The Somos Esencia gastronomic project closed 2023 with a turnover of 17 million euros, 18% more than during the previous year.
According to a statement from the company this Monday, the growth is due to the good functioning of its establishments, which have received "a good reception from the public" since their inception.
The partner and founder of Somos Esencia, Guillem Mitats, has assessed that the figures for 2023 allow them to face 2024 with optimism: "We will be able to beat the excellent figure for the year we just left behind."
In this regard, the company expects to have a turnover of around 30 million euros in 2024, to have six establishments, and to reach 300 employees between offices and premises.
The executive director, Álex Mitats, explained that "very ambitious" objectives have been set, but that they believe they will be able to meet them.
